Installing. Thought I had the latest itunes as I just updated a few days ago, but no. So I am trying again. Note to all: update itunes first.

A second incremental iTunes update came out yesterday, on top of the one from last week.

Thanks, it's all restored and working good now. Looking forward to doing the ipad, the streaming is going to be great. I've been using a third party app for that until now.

iOS 4.3 will allow:
iPhone 4 users to create a Personal Wifi Hotspot for up to 5 simultaneous connections
iPhone 3GS users to create a Personal Wifi Hotspot for 1 connection

It should go without saying but if you're a jailbreaker don't bother with this yet, you'll break your jb. Especially if you're an aTV user - hold off and keep an eye on the blogs for any jb news for this iOS version.

Altho, just tried the personal hotspot following the info on the phone, and my collegaue couldnt see my phone via BT...... he has a iphone 4.

It is for WiFi tethering . . .

Or are you trying the existing BT tethering?

Can you please tell me why our work phones on Telstra which are a using the Vodafone network, dont allow tethering via USB or this new wifi hotspot feature? We have 28 handsets with Telstra and none can tether...yet if we used the Vodafone APN (with a Vodafone account), they could.
