Wont work. Have exact same settings and cannot send a pix from iPhone 4 via MMS because the photos are 2mb in size and the maximum send size is 614400.

This is not a phone issue - its a network restriction and had the same problem on my last nokia sending a file to a mate via MMS.

Actually, you are wrong - it does work and I have verified it on numerous occasions. I am guessing your settings are wrong. It's not a "Network Restriction" it's a iPhone problem. Have you cleared all settings and started from scratch (trust me - if you have not I suggest you do this now)

You can send MMS from iPhone on Telecom from the camera roll. It is no impediment regarding file size, the iphone resizes them. If you are experiencing difficulties it is either because: 1. your settings are wrong on your phone, or 2. Telecom has disabled it on your account.

how would I know if Telecom has blocked my ability to pxt then?

The time i went into telecom for assiatance with this problem when i first discovered it...they were nearly useless in their assistance!

Would you have 'normally' presumed that they would suggest this as being the issue that's causing my pxt problem?????

ARGH!!!

I can confirm that

a: its not disabled on my account
b: the settings are correct (I'll even provide screen shots if need be)
c: I reformated the phone last Tuesday and still it does not work

Quote:But, if you still can't get it working, come visit me at Telecom Riccaton sometime tomorrow, ask for me by name (or if you ask who is the iPhone "expert" all hands will possibly point at me) - I can fix it up for you.

Hi there,

In this case it was the sim card that was (mostly) the issue - of which I replaced + did a network reset just in case (to clear other things up I noticed) - I also did a APN Reset and redid all the settings in the iPhone, after I did all this everything worked totally fine.

If you are having problems with the MMS Proxy (210.55.11.73:8080) give 210.55.11.73:80 a go and see if that makes any changes, in some cases it might, others might not - really depends.

Like any phone, it just takes time to troubleshoot the issue at hand, then find a solution to fix the problem. It's not the same with all phones - sometimes it could be a totally different issue with the same problems to the end user.
