my home button is sometimes quite unresponsive and takes a few presses for it to work. But why do Apple only give refurbishments as replacements?? Who would want a 2nd hand phone when their original is under warranty ?
Got the refurbished unit back today, now I have to update to ios5 and restore it :-( Although I can thankfully out the se w995 back in the drawer where it belongs lol
I had the same problem, got a replacement within 2 days from Apple. Seems a common issue and is hardware rather than software related, apparently it can be fixed with compressed air or a new button but since mine was under warranty I just sent mine back. I will probably get a 4S and my missus will have the 4 so if it happens again then I'll try the compressed air.

From what I have been led to believe Apple don't repair but replace with a refurbished unit. Maybe to speed up the turn around process from handing the phone in to repair to receiving it back?
