Pre-ordered the iPhone SE and it arrived this morning for my partner.  It's an upgrade for her 2016 SE, and she's pretty stoked

- Very similar size (slightly bigger, but still smaller than a mini).
- Still has home button.
- A15 chipset.

Data transfer between phones is really impressive, its a like-for-like of her old phone within 10 minutes. So pretty happy with the purchase and at a good price!

Where did you pre-order from, just out of interest? I got mine from Apple and it said something like "expected delivery 18/3" when ordering but the 23rd on the confirmation email.

Edit: I just checked the order status and it says "out for delivery". Fingers crossed :)

In Chch and mines been out for delivery since 8am this morning. It’s now 5pm so I’m guessing that it won’t be delivered til tomorrow or Monday now. That’s a shame.

Going to return my new iPad Air. It feels very creaky and hollow in places which is a common issue apparently and got extremely hot when using browsing the iconic app.

Poor quality control and poor build quality it seems.

That's a real shame. If you look very closely at my iPhone 13 Pro you can see that the gap between the display glass edge and the stainless steel surround varies by a fraction of a millimetre along its length.

It wouldn't bother me on a $500 device, but on a $2000 device I think the build quality should be better.

Interestingly I bought this device on release day, so it makes me wonder if the build quality is better if you buy when demand is 'off peak'.

Bah, not what I was wanting to hear - likely to pick one up in a month or two plus a magic keyboard as a laptop replacement for use when travelling & work. Might have to look into iPad Pro - though if anyone here has one, keen to hear feedback :)

I wouldn’t be worried if you’re getting it in a month or two. I’m guessing it’s just a bad batch.

Kopkiwi:

GSManiac: There’s an Android to IOS app that will transfer your data across and will app match too and bring them across. Way better than doing it manually.

Yeah, don't do this. It's absolutely useless, just manually set it up. It's infinitely quicker.

So, my wife is making the jump, bought herself an iPhone 13 Pro yesterday. We've tried the Move to iOS app several times, but it has failed to complete several times.
It looks like it's necessary to do it this way to get WhatsApp chat history transfered.
Has anyone managed to use Move to iOS successfully and do you have any tips?
