PoHq: Do the 6 plus cases fit the 7 plus?

Just been into Noel Leeming. They had no iPhone 7 plus specific but did have a couple that had iPhone 6 Plus and 7 plus on the packaging.

Nope. The camera cut-out is smaller on 6 Plus cases.

I read that as long as the camera bump fits it's fits fine. But some will be left with cutouts for headphone jacks instead of the new speaker grilles.

That sucks, explains why I didn't get any contact from Spark regarding my Matte Black iPhone 7 Plus order.

Guess I'll be using my Xperia Z5 until November then.

Matte Black 128GB Plus has arrived and is currently updating to 10.0.1

Ended up doing a restore as I really can't be bothered re-adding everything. Home button will take a little getting used to. like the 3D touch and lift to wake (coming from a 6 Plus). The camera zoom is pretty impressive as well.

The guy I spoke to at JB Hifi is less optimistic and saying next year for the Black phones

Apple sure know when they are onto a winner product....

Home button will take a little getting used to.

Yeah, its a wierd feeling, Played with one this morning, and the biggest thing I noticed was the feeling of the whole lower chin vibrating in response to the press, rather than just the portion around the "button"

I'm already used to it. Was a bit awkward at first but now it feels almost normal.

Matte black 7 plus 128GB arrived about 1 hour ago.

This thing is beautiful! Wasn't expecting the matte black to look so nice, and the screen is gorgeous (I guess it is the wide colour gamut optimised default wallpaper?)

The home button was startling at first, but quickly getting used to it.

Had my Matte Black 128gb since early this morning. Decided to go for that clean feeling and set up as new.........which sure does take a while.

Home button......VERY different but used to it within and hour or so. Camera - just a quick test so far but looks amazing.

This is my first plus model and I'm kinda thinking it's a bit big right now, hopefully I'll get used to it. My 6S already feels small.

I had no idea when they announced them they'd be so popular, considering it's not even the major hardware design refresh. I get the feeling even Apple are surprised at this one.

My local Spark didn't even have a display model

Mine seems to have come down from Auckland overnight and is waiting in Christchurch depot for courier to pick it up.

Still just sitting at depot "waiting for courier". Grrrrrrr.

Getting a little annoyed now. Was scanned in Christchurch depot at 8:30am this morning and is still sitting there at nearly 2:30pm waiting for a courier.

They're probably busier than usual with deliveries so I'm sure it'll turn up before the end of the day

Or because it wasn't a big refresh Apple produced a lower volume first up , to enhance the buzz of "I can't get one" all over social media.....

Apple's number one mantra is that people should be talking about you, (as long as it doesn't involve Ireland and taxes :)  , So I think they will be happy with the press they are getting..
