Should wait in any case. If you buy now you will have a year minus a few months to beat yourself up about buying the iPhone 5 when the iPhone 5S was right around the corner.

Beating myself up for not waiting for the New Macbook Air, seeing the SSD, battery, gpu and cpu specs of the new one. (Just got the one I have). Not that its not a nice machine, but now there is something nicer out there and its such a short time ago I got this one..

To be honest, if i thought a larger screen iphone was on its way in Sept i would have waited.

I am pretty happy with my Iphone5 so far, appart from it feeling a bit weird in my hand.

That said i have had it less than 24 hours!

What was weird to me is how quickly the iPhone 4S (which my wife inherited from me) felt strange. After only a couple of days the iPhone 5 was the normal phone and the iPhone 4S was strangely small. ;)

I would at least wait till the iPhone 5s announcement .

At the moment it looks like:
-Same Case Design
-Faster Processor
-Better Camera, at least 10mp but probably 12mp. (Dont be fooled by the specs on competitors phones, iPhones take better 8MP photos that the GS4's 12MP.
-Dual Flash (2 x LED's)
-Reduced QC issues
-iOS7 (despite what people say about it visually, it will be GREAT for performance, battery and multitasking).

They are also supposed to be working on a lower spec 4" iPhone "Lite". Designed for countries that have huuuuge price points and little carrier subs (i.e NZ).

I would wait... the iPhone 5 is a great phone, and the 5s will refine it even further.

Just my 2 cents :)

And just incase- personal phone is iPhone 5, Work phone is a Windows Phone and use and android every day. So Im not an apple fan boy, just calling it how it is :)
