shaneblyth:mailmarshall: The interesting thing is that if you have an IPOD touch with jailbroken software and you check for updates in Itunes it will ask you to pay US$9 for the upgrade to 2.0.
The Iphone 2.0 firmware upgrade doesn't ask for this - wonder why?
because Apple charges for the ipod touch update but not the iphone one for some reason only known to them
djpaubes: anyone gone to 2.0 using windoze yet?

djpaubes: I followed the instructions on http://www.iclarified.com/entry/index.php?enid=1572
and I'm getting an 1600 error on itunes during the restore.. had these issues before?
Should the sim card be in the phone during restore?
djpaubes: I'm currently ziphone 1.1.3 so do I need to blow that away first?
