Hey guys im new here. Just wondering is there anyway i can set the iphone 3g to limit it to only 10megabytes of usage per day MAX. I just hate to accidentally find im being charged ridiculous amounts.

The only way is to do it manually. It would be very easy to max out 10MB on 3G (in under a minute).

Another option would be to jailbreak and install bossprefs and turn off 3G... you'd have better battery life and use data slower... but you'd have a 2.5G iPhone with a shiny back and GPS.

so even on prepay its always on..damn

You can disable 3G in settings.

To disable GPRS you need to modify the APN. This can be done via www.unlockit.co.nz
