I wonder if they have bothered to fix the Caller ID.. I cant test it yet.

My gut tells me they havent.

I've never noticed a problem with caller ID on mine.

Well, i'm havingissues (like other people) with numbers that are long. like this for example;

021 123 456 78

The iPhone will regonise numbers up to 021 123 456 7 but nothing over.

So contacts details dont get shown.

its a Vodafone/Apple issue. Theres actually a thread started for it.

Its a pain in the backside. Vodafone have royally screwed up my account something wiked on top of that. So its taken them over 5 weeks already and still havent heard from them.

Hmm - Not sure I know anyone who has an 8 digit mobile number, so that may be why I've not noticed an issue with it!

A little concerned about bad experiences from customer services - i'm about to go it alone with Vodafone (rather than being part of a large corporate account).  Slightly bamboozled by the choice of options, but at least i won't be on a fixed term contract so will be able to chop and change.

Yeah that'll be why you wont have any issue.

Oh okay.. Yeah, im pretty disgusted with Vodafones attitude lately. They've been making a right balls up in regards to their customer service.

Just caught up with this bug, and just to confirm that the 2.2 update has not fixed this, or the caller id bug (in fact it undoes the fix that can be manually applied via editing the filesystem, see the other thread)

Steps to create problem

1) Create a new All-Day event in outlook or OWA within NZ Daylight savings time
2) Wait for phone to sync
3) All day event is displayed one day early

Things to Note
1) An event that runs from 12:00am to 12:00 pm but is not an "all day event" does not exhibit this behaviour
2) Creating an event after daylight savings ends does not exhibit this problem

Work Around
1) Create Appointment as normal on computer
2) Wait for it to sync to iPhone
3) Edit the appoitment on the iPhone to the correct day
4) Outlook and the iPhone now both report the correct day
