What do you mean, "getting up" ? I'll still be up.

I know this is heresy but the last few keynotes I have viewed in the following way:

- Get up at my regular time

- Make sure not to ready ANY news or blogs before I start watching the keynote

- Watch the keynote when it suits me.

Don't have to stay up or get up at an ungodly time, and still get to view it as if it was live.

I have another approach. Don't watch the keynote, after it has been broadcast I just check a reputable tech media site and read the high points in 5mins or less.

Sure. If you just want the cold hard facts and have a cold dead heart, that’s how you do it ;)

I like Apple’s production of their keynotes so I enjoy watching them. Just not at 5am.

I typically have no issues staying awake up to 40 hours at a time.
I will simply sleep when I need to rather than go off social media or news.

Due a new phone and Watch, probably a phone first although neither are causing me any issues apart from both being 4 years old. Really hanging out to see what the 14 pro offers

I've got a feeling they'll be coming in the October event. All signs point to that being a specific iPad event. Or mostly iPad.

Yes, there will be a new iPad Pro M2 in both sizes, we are expecting this to ship with iPadOS 16.1

Yes, October event will be iPad and MacBook Pro 14 / 16 M2 Pro and M2 Max.

Thanks. Guess it's a few months wait till they'll be shipping then. 

More news that airpods pro 2 (or whatever they'll be named) may make this event too. Hope so as I really want a pair 

How to prices on the existing models usually fare on Apple announcements? (Ive never followed them).

I was about to grab a series 7 watch but have been hanging off in cases prices fall after a new model is announced.  Or is this not a thing.
