iPhone 13 mini discontinued whihc leaves the SE as the only smaller option now.
I'm disappointed in the price increases in NZ, but I'll still be buying.
I really want to know if the Action Button can do more than just "one and done" – eg., can you hold it down for a different function? Or double click?

Prices are up on Apple NZ website.
As in "prices have increased" or "prices have been released" for NZ?
Sometimes I just sit and think. Other times I just sit.

It would take less time to find out 1st hand than ask the question.
Not if you don't know what the old prices were.

$2499 starting for the pro max is a mighty hard pill to swallow in this economy
I will probably buy a series 9 watch in a couple of months when the battery health on my series 6 hits the dreaded 80%. I am disappointed that the battery life hasn't improved though, because I was under the impression that the new chip was going to be more thermally efficient.

So they include a USB-C "charging cable" for the Pro iPhones, however if you're wanting the 10Gbps USB 3 transfer speeds, you'll have to purchase another cable which supports this.
That's just stupid. Include the better cables for all the phones, otherwise people are going to be wondering why the transfer speeds are slower than expected.

I don't know if iPhone prices go into freefall once a new model comes out but the Apple NZ site has their current pricing.
My wife was looking at a 14 plus @$1649, the equivalent 15 plus is $1849. I'd support the 15 just to get rid of the lightning cables.
They have dropped since the 15 launched. Yesterday NZ RRP of the 14 plus was $1799. In fact a few retailers still have them for $1799 so thats the $50 increase for the 15 plus
For the better chip, better camera and dynamic island $200 is well worth it

On the pricing page when you scroll down to "Which iPhone is right for you?", under the iPhone 15 Pro this seems odd...
Considering it's only got 5x optical zoom, I'd love to know how they came to that figure, seems dodgy.

Interestingly the specifications for the 15 Pro indicate 0.5x, 1x, 2x, and 3x for the zoom despite it only having three lenses. The 15 Pro Max shows 0.5x, 1x, 2x, and 5x.
It would be interesting to know whether they are doing something clever with folded optics, or whether they are just misrepresenting cropping as an 'optical zoom'.
