Worth noting for the member who asked - Apple will be completely dropping support for Time Machine from os27. They’ll become a paperweight. 

 

They are dropping support for the Time Capsule not Time Machine. They stopped selling the Time Capsule in 2018 so it's pretty reasonable.

They are removing AFP in Mac os 27 so it just can't work.
