That's pretty crap really - they FINALLY get FM radio on an iPod, and still not available on the most expensive one. Boo.

I can just about afford the 32gb model, I just need to wait for this weeks pocket money to come through. Also, I have a Loaded prepaid visa, so it takes a night to go through into that card. Hopefully by around this time next week I'll have my touch.

I took a while in deciding, but I think the 32 gig model is probably better in the long run, never know what software Apple might throw at it, or how big my iTunes library may get.

Yeah Definitely. It was a pretty easy choice for me. I suggest borrowing money or getting an advance as they aren't shipping for up to 3 day and the sooner you get your order in the sooner it arrives.

Agreed. I was surprised to see this feature added as Apple have always been resistant to support content sourced from anywhere other than iTunes, but I am thrilled to see it as podcasts just can't make up for the live and instant nature of news programmes on the radio.

Having said that, adding it to the Nano and not the Touch is unforgiveable.

The question for me now is whether I buy the new Nano or wait in the hope that they add FM radio to the next iPhone release. The other option would be to buy the Griffin Navigate accessory, but that means extra cost and another item to carry.

I heard somewhere that the Bluetooth chip in the touch could also be used for FM radio. If so, then a software update one day could give 2nd generation and 3rd generation iPod touch users FM radio.

Once again I thought I'd go for the 8gb model, then after talking to one of my friends, I want the 32 gb model. My parents advised me not to buy anything until after the weekend, when I am sure :P

Well, I took the day of school yesterday to go to Waitomo caves with my family, and last night sitting in our motel room with bad TV signal, I heard Noel Leeming advertise that they have the new iPods, and then this afternoon, when we got back to Tauranga, we popped into the local store, and I brought the 32gb. Plus, it was $20 cheaper than the ones on the Apple website :P

Syncing it now, I may do a review or something later.

yeah cool. lucky you living in the north island you get new products from auckland much quicker. I will just wait for mine from apple store mainly because i have already ordered it. Oh well 20 bucks isn't the end of the world and i can't get to the nearest store without begging my mum to drive me so i will wait.

yeah but if you don't mind me asking what school is that. I go to a school where looking at someone funny is an excuse to give someone the bash and where technology is stolen weekly. People at my school have no respect or control.
