How about HTML5. isn't youtube slowly rolling this out so there is no need for flash. WHy do flash when you can jump a generation.

Note: I am not a geek so have no idea what I just said.

Some of HTML 5 is already there; one of the sites I'm working on at the moment is HTML 5 and works flawlessly in 3.1 :)

Looks like I need to do some brushing up/reading up on HTML5 so I can work out what the heck you guys are talking about (:

Well, SDK 3.2 is now available for download (to paid-up app developers). I guess that rules out SDK 4 anytime soon.

I can't read the release notes, but even if I could it's unfortunately still under NDA so I cannot post the details. One thing I have seen noted on another Apple dev focused site is that SDK 3.2 is iPad ONLY. I.e. it will not run on iPhone or iPod. Annoying, since what little of the API diffs I got to see before the Apple web server crashed(!) indicated it would be really handy for iPhone devs too.
