I got a 32gb one. Sure enough the first thing I tested was the death grip feature (lol). Seems like my hands are non conductive as I couldn't replicate it in a range of signal strengths. Signal strength is on par or better than my previous iPhone but worse than my dumbphone.

I was going to put it in a case but I might not now after seeing how great it looks and feels.

Finally got mine, after a day of lining up and waiting for credit check to be processed. All I can say is the screen is damn gorgeous.

As for antenna issue, I tried gripping it with my left hand as hard as I can, it dropped from 5 bars to 4. Haven't tried in different locations yet but I can definitely see how this issue was overblown.

I got a carrier update after first sync. It probably fixes this.

Got the last but one of 40 in the Chch VF retail store colombo, yet to fire it up properly; was offered full costs + $100 by a bloke who wanted it from me.

No offer of case / bumperr; VF say they had been told NOTHING by Apple!

Ok the truth, if you throw it at a brick wall it will break.

If you tape it to the space shuttle you will get awesome video.

Death Grip half half but nothing significant
