You're not wrong about the seamless integration of screen and chassis. But given how scratch prone it is, I don't think it's the best for anyone remotely sensitive to scratches :( I saw a demo unit in a Spark store that was already showing massive micro-scratches.

Yatey: I checked my order and the same thing has happened to me. Not happy! I was told that I would be emailed by the end of the day with an update.

Apple rang me back and gave me my correct tracking number. My phone is showing up in Zhengzhou, China and is expected to deliver on Monday. A bit gutted as I'm off to Christchurch in 2 days and won't be back until October 3rd so I was really hoping for a delivery from the 21st-23rd! Oh well. Glad I have the correct tracking number, I can have a bit more piece of mind now.

Good to hear that you were provided the correct tracking information. I am still waiting for Apple to get back to me, but will call them tomorrow.

So 10.1 beta has been released today with the new depth of field camera feature added. I came across the below 2 images on Twitter which shows how it will look. I am quite looking forward to having a play with it.

And here is a few random images of my own taken with the 7 Plus.

Spark have opened up "back order ordering" for the iPhone 7 and plus now so have gone and ordered a 128gb Jet Black. The website does make it clear that it could be upto a 12 week wait for this, so should be here by Christmas!

Finally got the Matte Black, it looks really nice in person, much darker than whats shown in the press photos. I find the slipperiness to be a non-issue and it feels exactly the same in the hand as a Rose Gold model.

Where was this phone? Was it in the wild or a demo unit?

Has anyone in NZ received their 7+ jet black?

I'll stick to my Zeiss Distagon 35mm f1.4 for that I think....! Mind you, it cost the amount of two iPhones.

I checked my wife's order today (iPhone 7 Plus Jet Black) and it just said "Your order is in the queue!"

Useless.

Really impressed with the low light photography on the iPhone 7 Plus.

Here are some handheld shots at night (originals are available too, so you can look at them at 100%). Only done a little cropping on a couple of the photos, no other work has been done to them.

Pretty good to be mobile phone photos I think.
