it's all so cloak and dagger, i'm almost beginning to enjoy it, almost.. and at least i'll get a lie in tomorrow if it is true it has been delayed..
but when will they come clean tho? it'd be nice to know before i go to sleep!
and i would have thought if the launch was to be cancelled they'd announce it.. (but it could still all be a crafty marketing scam)

VF may just be having an XT moment, and putting undue pressure on themselves....

Nah they were just waiting for Telecom to put out their plans and now VF will modify their offering

Nope something dodgy is up. At vodafone.co.nz/iphone in the left column, up until a few minutes ago you could click on 'iPhone 4', now it just says 'iPhone' and lists the 3GS models underneath.

2020 MacBook Air M1 (Space Grey) | 2023 Mac mini M2 | 2021 iPad Pro 11" M1 (Space Grey) | 2021 iPad mini (Space Grey) | iPhone 15 Pro Max (Natural Titanium) | HomePod (Space Grey) | 10x HomePod mini (Space Grey, White, Yellow, Blue, Orange) | 4x Apple TV 4K | Apple Watch Ultra 2

This is starting to look really sketchy......

Does anyone know how MagnumMac will be selling it e.g. on a plan with a subsidy hopefully!?

Heard a rumour that the shipment from China has been delayed hence no stock for stores. They are desperately trying to get stock from Aussie but won't be here in time.

Don't shoot me if i am wrong, but this was hot on the heels of Magnum Mac telling me "don't bother coming in tomorrow", "We have nfi" from 1 vodafone store & "no stock tomorrow" from another VF store.

@ShockNZ I'm sure the Apple's Magic Unicorn will 'make' some iPhone 4 from its rear side *hehe*

Is it unprecedented for an iPhone launch to be cancelled?

I know this is hearsay, but i call VF customer service at exactly 2:59pm today and asked if VF will be selling the iphones tomorrow and was told to hold, 30 secs later the person came back on the line and said yes. I asked why she went away, and she replied she was checking to make sure it was ok to tell me.

True story, I can post the screen shot of the call time.
