Under Cellular (or Mobile) Data, select the APN field and enter internet <----- APN = Internet

the username and password are both blank

That's the problem, the fields are not there since they update.

That's the problem, the fields are not there since they update.


This is pretty normal.. as the iPhone has the settings built in and the settings are 100% the same for everyone.. you should not need to edit them so 2Degrees have asked Apple to hide the settings.

For some reason your iPhone isn't picking up the settings correctly.

Actually 2degrees told me that Apple had dictated that they lock down the carrier settings.

I think it was a condition of their getting the rights to sell the Apple hardware.

It screwed up my wife's iPhone internet access fully - the only way to resolve was to manually install an .ipcc file through iTunes. The 2degrees people just said to do a full factory reset after their OTA carrier bundle failed. 

... and now 7.1 has failed again...
