Well, I've changed my mind after being unexpectedly made redundant last week (after 27 years at the same company!). I'm going to set up my own business and want to keep the phones separate so my current iPhone 5 will become my work phone and I'll treat myself to a 6S as a personal phone. I have a Mac at home and an iPad mini I'll use for work, so I'm keeping the ecosystem Mac-based.

The Apple Music site says Apple Music will be coming to the Apple TV "this fall" so I expect that's not far off. Maybe with the new model being announced this week. That's supposed to have a larger hard drive too.

Fall could be October with Ipad too.

I'd be surprised if they watered down an iphone launch with this.

I guess we'll find out on Thursday. It's just a case of including an extra app. If there's an new ATV I'd be hoping it had a new range of apps, especially considering it's supposed to have a full app site.

Link to tonight's/tomorrow morning's live stream Apple event can be found here.

Kicks off at 5AM NZ time for all you die-hards out there and apparently the link should work on iOS devices as well as PC/Mac desktop/laptop browsers.

Anyone else setting their alarm??

For those of us that have been asleep, what does this mean? Are we finally getting a new iPhone on "day 1" again?

Edit: Aha!

Yikes! Even the 64 GB 6S is $1399... that's more than the 64 GB 6 was (I think it was $1249).

Meanwhile: *Waits impatiently for iOS 9 to download* :P

Yeah that is almost a deal breaker! Almost.

I have to see where my contract is and if Vodafone will be an early resign for me.
