My first impressions: Speed speed speed! I came from a 3G running iOS 4, and it was painful. iPhone 4 blows it out of the water.

Display = gorgeous. It actually took a couple of minutes to get used to as I thought it was too detailed at first. Small text on websites especially - you can actually read the text without zooming in.

Death grip = I managed to drop the signal to 1 bar by holding the area for a while, but it didn't affect call quality (called 777 just to test it out).

That's about all I've had time to do so far!

Looks like iMovie isn't in the NZ app store, yet.

To be honest the biggest mission was deleting over 600 emails I got for being subscribed to that massive thread while I was at work! :)
Screen is brilliant
Everything is fast
Death Grip exists, got it down to 1 bar and no 3G within about 5 seconds (got a case, no problems now)
Build quality is excellent
Despite having the camera constantly crash (requiring a restore) on a brand new device I think it's a great phone. Never knew how much I loved my old 3G till I sold it and found it hard to survive a week on an old Sony Ericsson.

:)

Remember folks you can always go to your profile and change notification options to always, once, hourly and daily. I use hourly and don't get that avalanche of emails...

I got the iPhone4 today. I live in an area with very poor reception (in a valley) my 3gs couldn't get reception but now with my iPhone4 today i actually get 1-2 bars of reception where there was previously none so im very happy with the new antenna. Being able to txt and call from anywhere in the house while holding it is a relief.

currently trying to find apps that showcase that beautiful screen and improved graphics. zen bound 2 i would recommend, anyone with suggestions?

Oh hmm I'm still getting the PDP authentication failure error when using 3G. I'm pretty sure I did the carrier settings update. Anyone else having this problem?

Hard reset as in? Resetting settings or power on / off?

I did a power hard reset, but I guess I can try restoring firmware as well.
