RAM is never mentioned; it's not something that a typical customer needs to worry about.

Also, RAM isn't measured in grambits tongue-out

cbdkid: New pricing is up on the Apple website. iPhone 6S Plus 128GB is $1799..

Apple could charge $10,000 and people would probably still buy it, because its Apple.

128GB iPhone 6S $1599, a bit rich for my blood since I already have the 6. I know the the NZD has gone to crap, but at $300 more than last years will be a deal breaker for me.

It's 10% heavier too, seems like a lot - wonder what it will feel like in the hand.

I think I'll hold out for the 7 next year.

Behodar: Yikes! Even the 64 GB 6S is $1399... that's more than the 64 GB 6 was (I think it was $1249).

To be honest I was expcecting it to be worst than that.

NZD was 80c USD a year ago, today its 64c, thats a 20% fall,  the price increase is only 12%...

Exchange rates will hurt Apple. Certainly makes OEM's like Huawei  look attractive.

Is it me, or are the phones heavier as well now. I am still semi keen on the 6s+ 64gb. That price is quite high. But the weight of the phone is also a concern now. Where did all that weight come from!

Actually thinking more and more so... with iOS 9 App Thinning, and the reduced monthly subscription of iCloud Storage plans, I think 16GB would be sufficient - I've been using 16GB iPhone 5, and with 20GB iCloud Storage for Photos and Backups etc... I've taken the hard and fast discipline on keeping what really matter to me with me and not every little things. So I think it is possible to get along just fine with 16GB.

I have to admit, as a very girly girl, the rose gold model has stolen my heart. I'll be ordering a 6S on Saturday. It's my birthday this weekend, so happy birthday to me! Now to find a decent case.

Hm, you may be correct indeed - but realistically, it offers only 12gb of usable space. And if you load up on apps, then its mostly gone.

I do get that Apple are keeping the 16gb option in order to push people towards their iCloud offering (good tactic Apple), but they should have gone with 32gb as the base model.

I have a 64GB 6 Plus and have only used a fraction of the storage. I have  photos set to go to One Drive (1TB) and I delete them off my phone on a regular basis.  I also think  16GB is probably enough.
