I'm thinking they may have more in store for the iPhone event unless they are going to just do a short 1-hour keynote again like today. The added the U1 ultrawideband chip to the watch so maybe airtags?

Slightly off topic but I thought YouTube on Apple TV was going to play 4k. It still doesn’t. Or at lease it doesn’t for me. What gives?

Ordered the Watch tonight... hopefully here soon. I’ve been after one for a while and the SE seems a good balance of features vs price.

Mostly I will use it for telling the time and activity and run tracking, notifications and Apple Pay are bonuses.

I used my Apple Watch for telling time once...oh the past. Such a wonderful time when things were simpler...

Just got a shipping notification for my watch but the tracking link gives a 500 error and still Apple still says arrives Tuesday 29th..

If I put my tracking number into the DHL website it says it’s in mainland China

Anyone notice that since the latest ios 14 update, that maps no longer work when using the apple watch excercise app on the iphone? The map now only shows the start point, and not the is not displaying the route. I have got all tracing enabled and allowing it in the privacy settings as per their instructions for this type of problem.

I just picked up the new iPad today from Noel Leeming. They didn’t even have it on display it just came into the warehouse.

For the money, it’s super fast and fluid with A12. Came loaded with IOS 14.

Interesting that the battery was at 100% when I turned it on. Must have been air freighted in from China.

Everything bar the solo braided bands in the recent announcement was a giant yawn to my eyes. I've bought the green one simply because, with Covid, anything that isn't washable isn't a viable option and the sports loops and the Nike bands both tend to be pretty uncomfortable for long term wear. If the braided solo loops are as comfortable as people claim them to be, they will be worth it for me despite the ridiculous price.

They do seem to be running out of ideas. The apple tags and iphone are expected next month, but the iphone isn't exactly ground breaking, it will be faster with a faster refresh rate, but still notched. . Hopefully a new apple TV too as the current one is ancient. They really need a new product. They have missed the boat with the smart speaker, as they really should have small cheap versions of this.

Got my Stainless steel series 6 today. Have to say the milanese loop in this version is more comfortable than the one that came with the first generation, seems much more solid and doesn't move around on my wrist as much.

Still wanting to get a braided solo loop one day, the estimated delivery date is november which is quite far away.

Yes I have the same issue with workout maps not showing up. It’s a known bug that will be addressed in the next update.
