Apparently one guy's had tethering working by "hacking" the carrier files.

Which shouldnt be a worry for most of us, with our factory unlocked 3G iphones :D

MattD: Looks like 3.0 also includes new MobileMe service called "Find My iPhone" to help locate the iPhone if lost or stolen... 
might also be a way your significant other may have of keeping tabs on you Surprised





Out of curiousity, is 3.0 quite stable atm (even though its in Beta) just wondering.
