Glad the pixel skin hd looks/feels good cause that's what I got. The normal pixel skin is a bit bulky.

I have a shield on the back but nothing on the front at the moment. I want to get one cause I get stuff on my hands that I'm worried it will hert the coating on the screen

ZollyMonsta: I put my Zagg ultimate skin on my iphone tonight.. what a nightmare.

For a start the skin isn't cut properly. So whilst you are trying to free it from the backing paper, the edges can (and will) slightly stretch.

I put on the rear skin and started putting on the side skin stickers. The side ones looked stupid (especially as they had pinched off at the corners due to not being cut properly at the factory) so I removed those side ones and didn't bother continuing with doing the sides.

I got the back looking resonable, a few small bubbles which should 'work out in 2 to 3 days'. I then did the front.. same thing there with the skin snagging in the corners and near impossible to remove from the backing paper. Not sure what you're supposed to do with the button skin, I applied it, but it looked stupid so I removed it.

So my thoughts on Zagg are.... If you:

* Have plenty of patience
* Are very dextrous and nimble with your fingers
* Live in a completely dust free enviroment
* Aren't afraid to put liquids near an expensive electronic device

..then it's probably for you. We bought two Zaggs (one for my iphone, one for my wifes) so depending on how the front/rear looks on mine in 2 to 3 days, will depend on wether we apply the skin to hers, or seek another option.

A little disappointed with Zagg thus far. :-(

P.S The orange peel effect is a reality.. So far I am seeing it... Will report back in a couple of days.

aw that disappointing... sorry to hear that :( can you still see the orange peel effect when the screen turns on?

[edit] i got the pixelskin HD too. but damn its taking its time... it got shipped from singapore a few days ago O.o hopefully it comes by the end of this week!!

And the zagg now gets my ultimate thumb-down. In my pocket for 2 mins... dog-eared on the corner and now the corner is covered in fluff.

Dammit. :-(

Orange Peel effect can be seen when viewing on an angle.

I'm getting my iPhone 4 replaced in a few days hopefully and I definitely won't be going for ZAGG again (I got Best Skins Ever, but apparently they're very similar).

Ordered some Power Support iPhone 4 Anti-Glare and they should be arriving in a few days so hopefully those are much better.

I've applied for a refund on both skins (one used, one unopened).. still waiting on email from them..

Not much in the shops (if any) for iPhone4 screen protection (Checked out Dick Smith, Vodafone and Parallel Imported in Queensgate Mall Lower Hutt).

you must have done somethign wrong... hm... very weird... you left it alone for 24hours without turning it on right?

well of course you can see the orange peel but important thing is that when the screen is ON, you cant see it, even from an angle.

well its not for everyone i guess. good luck with the refund.

I'm using my Ikonic Edge leather pouch thingy and it's awesome, it's got a pocket for my eftpos card as well and fits superbly in my pocket. The case 'polishes' the glass front as you you slide it in and out of the case so the phone always seems to look like new without any of those ghastly screen protectors that attract fingerprints and dull the clarity of the retina display.

Although the leather pouch is expensive it's a great solution so I would recommend it.

I've thought on more than one occasion the only thing that would make my speck geo case even better is a little slot to slide my eftpos card into. Might see if I can jury rig something like a pocket on the back of my freebie one.

Why do people go all out on ZAGG? I've used Bestskinsever for all 3 of my iphones and have it on other devices and it works great, very very cheap too.

Word to the wise, I ordered the clear Belkin case within the iPhone bumper/case app, put it on and two days later I've noticed a small but noticable scratch on the back of the phone thanks to the case.

Taken it off for now and will apply a protector before reusing it.

Received an incase snap case today in smoke. Was given a clear incase snap a couple of weeks ago. Can say the smoke is superior from an aesthetic and use perspective after only a day of use. The clear case sure showed off the beauty of the iPhone but it showed up smudges and fingerprints on the back (not a showstopper for sure) and it also showed up dust getting in. I presume the smoke case will let a bit of dust in but it won't be visible due to the opaque coloring. Also, the smoke case has a nice feather touch coating whilst the clear case is very smooth -- and slippery. I find the smoke case much less slippery and grips nicely to flat surfaces like the car...clear case not so much.

I could definitely live with e clear case but am happy I changed my order to the smoke case. All buttons and ports are easily accessible and it still looks sweet! Love it.

Just removed Zagg screen protector from my phone. Applied a belkin clearview screen protector. So far superior to the Zagg and unlike claims Zagg is invisible (which it's not) the belkin truly is. Screen feels and looks like it's naked.

is the home button cut out in a circle on the new ones or does the cut out go right to the edge like the older ones?

There is a hole cut out for home key, forward facing camera and earpiece.

Got it for 24.95 at Norman Ross. Comes with three screen protectors.
