I'm really hoping that getting my order placed by 7:01 will get me mine.

I do wish they'd indicate if this is likely or not as i may have changed my mind to another colour otherwise.

Anyone have an ETA from Vodafone for theirs?

I am a big fan of getting to largest but with 74gb space free on my 128gb it seemed excessive to me.

Good on Apple for adding the option though.

Is there any other phone with that much storage?

Storage is interesting, because Apples old reasoning for low storage was everything was stored in the cloud, so you don't need storage on the phone. So many people including me can easily get away with a 16GB device. Although icloud requires you to have lots of storage on the device if you are storing all your videos and photos. When everyone used mp3's for music, a 256 GB phone would have been the ultimate music machine. But these days we have been conditioned to subscription music services, where you don' t need any storage

But it does make sense to have a 256GB device when you are doing 4k video, and high res photos.

You can't do high res images on an iPhone...!

The shiny black is clearly enormously popular - VF do not expect to ship new orders today until November, yet matte black will ship "as soon as possible".

Haven't heard anything about my jet black ip7. I did call customer services today and they said it should be delivered from 16/9.

On my iPhone 6 I didn't even get an email and it was delivered to work at 8am on launch day, I got an email about 12.30pm to say it was on its way haha. Am hoping VF customer service is up to the same usual high standard

Pretty much any phone with a mSD expansion slot. My phone has had 256Gb storage for a long time :)

Note 7 or Edge 7 would have 64Gb internal and up to 256Gb micro SSD.

That said, my 128Gb iPhone 6 still has 43Gb of available storage....

Well looks like Matt Black was the best choice after all.

And a little boy waits....

Still excellent if only they had solved the problem. It was the battery that was duff, not they phone....

It was so great they couldn't build it in a way that made it not blow up...

I think they rushed it to crush the iPhone 7/7 Plus.
