Saw a video of someone using a wireless mouse with their usb dongle connected to an apple usb-c to usb-a dongle.  Cracked me up, but hey, it works!  You'd be wanting a smaller mouse dongle though like the Logitech unifying receiver otherwise you're going to be carrying around a pushemepullyou of a dongle collection just for mousing :)

As useful as a mouse on iPad might be, it’s probably finally being able to directly connect USB drives, memory cards etc that is a more useful game-changer:

What is needed now is for someone like Logitech to put out an iPad Pro keyboard folio cover that includes a touchpad for cursor control. Betcha this happens before too long. It would be a killer product.

It was only a matter of time once iPad got mouse-capable - first keyboard with a trackpad announced:

I use the ipad with a bluetooth keyboard and trackpad thing which is now usable as a mouse, and it is okay. But not as intuitive as it could be. They also really need to work on split windows, as even in ios13, it isn't very intuitive.

I use a Microsoft Universal Mobile keyboard and Microsoft Wedge Mouse with my iPad 9.7.

the keyboard supports 3 bluetooth devices and the lid can detach to make a stand and is charged by usb.

I use the keyboard with my Surface Pro and put the ipad in the lid with my phone.  I use Duet Display to turn the ipad into a second screen for the surface (or third screen when docked). The ipad just connects to the surface with the standard apple cable.

My wife has the Brydge Pro for her 12.9 and I have one for my 11.  Must say, mine is crap.  Misses key presses, have to redo words all the time, it's rubbish.  Hers seems fine.  I've been in touch with them and am going to try a replacement.  Pretty much every other BT keyboard I've used has been fine, even the cheap $15 Magic Keyboard knockoffs.

How do I completely mute the iPad Pro? The bell icon in the control centre only mutes system sounds.  It doesn’t mute media sounds.  So do I have to turn the volume down to mute both?

I've had Brydge keyboards for a while now and find them to be excellent!

Yours must be wonky if you're having those issues...a new one should restore your faith in them...hopefully.

If one swipes down from the top right corner, on the settings screen on the right hand side (other side from the bell) is the volume slider.  Swipe it down to the bottom and it will show the mute icon.  I think this is the same as using the volume buttons.

From memory, the bell icon is only for alerts and system sounds.
