I’ve solved the issue with my cover by disabling the cover from waking the phone in Settings. A bit less convenient but at least my calls aren’t declined before I can pick them up!
iOS 14.1 chewing up my battery. I’ve turned off everything in settings that makes it a smart phone including mobile data and WiFi and still doing it. Seems others in Apple forums are also having this issue. iOS 14.0 was great battery wise and had even improved it.
