Not sure if anyone else noticed quite strong yellow hue on the screen especially with True Tone on. I have had the phone for two weeks now as my wife didn’t want X so I gave her my iPhone 8 Plus.

After coming from a nice LCD screen - OLED took me some time to get used to. I was complaining a lot about the yellow hue and initially played with the calibration etc. google search seems to show fair number of people with similar complaint.

I am not sure if it’s just my eyes but after 2 weeks of use I find the screen has normalised and now I am happy with the screen. Interesting as some LCD screens needed heat to burn off glue etc but not sure about OLED.

I wanted to see what others have thought of the new screen.

@Insanekiwi I haven't noticed it personally, but it is a big enough issue that Apple released an official statement: https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT208191
