Big F*** up ever. Apple website said nothing about when and how much. Like the Ipad. Retailer sell before Apple does. WTF. Are they just thing we have to buy one no matter what. I am big fan of Apple. almost got every apple products. but this time, cos the iphone, i even flip my 3Gs yester on trade me. Now what, should i keep using my back up lengdary long lasting black & white nokia instead?? come on VF NZ and Apple NZ. you'd better offer something better than a free ruber bumper. Cry

NZCoderGuy: Update from NewstalkZB Twitter:
"Vodafone has been left red-faced over what was meant to have been the launch of the iPhone 4.

A spokesman greeted around a dozen people waiting outside its store on Auckland's Queen Street and told them it can't sell the new phones at the moment. People waiting were offered a complementary coffee.

Vodafone says it can't comment on what's stalling the launch and is directing media enquiries to Apple."

It sounds very much like apple has f#@!ed over Vodafone on this one?

I'm not a complete idiot, I still have some parts missing.

Yes, it's completely homosexual.
I commend you on your excellent grasp of the English Language, which enables you to construct such eloquent sentences.

ciaocibai: Kind of out of left field, but when I was on the DSE website earlier they had the 3Gs 16GB for $999, and the 32GB for $1099 - the prices seem to have changed back again now though... Not sure what that was about.

That my friend, was that the prices Apple NZ changed them to on their website earlier (2+ weeks, if not longer) before removing them altogether.

I can only assume thats the price they will drop to, once the iPhone 4 officially launches. and looks like someone at DSE made it live accidentially.

Good catch BTW :)

s.joseph: vf site has iphone 4 plans aparantly aswell now

Man, they remove the banner a week or so ago, remove all information last night, put the banner back this morning, put plans up ~10am ... maybe there will actually be confirmation of midday on the website soon? Surely they'd be wise to do that and avoid the many calls they must be getting!

I'm pretty sure that is just showing all VF stores or resellers, doesn't actually mean they all have stock.
