Here's something to be aware of for those looking to buy on contract with VF - and then resign.

Buy Iphone4 on 32GB on iPhone $40 plan = $849 gst INCLUDED.

Break fee = $450 gst EXCLUDED

So the total is NOT $1299, because you pay extra $56.25 of GST on breakfee.

Cunning!

Definite confirmation that it will be on sale in places at midday today. Including a few resellers.

I've had clear info that there has been stock already in shops but something happened yesterday between apple and vodafone and overnight things have been patched up. So all sales were off for today and now they are back on. Limited stock in only a few place and it looks like 2-3 weeks for proper stocks everywhere else.

Or this could just be a clever marketing campaign design to bolster the hype!

We'll have to queue angrily. Anyone got any placards?

I guess they know they can get away with it because we're like this :(.

Right so the same crappy (sorry I mean value-added) plans as before. What a joke.

Well my suggestion would be..
Get a grip
Wait until Apple are selling online/unlocked.
Do something positive and support the game changing 2degrees and use your new iPhone with a company that gives more of a toss than a robot like Vodafone.

But no, gadget-must-have-fever will cause people to run to Vodafone in shill droves.

Why were you expecting anything different?

Maybe they can get away with it (for explanation of 'it' review last 30 pages of this thread) by explaining it as a simple a.m./ p.m. timing misunderstanding? :P
