People, remember to use the new "You have a new iPhone 4" thread to discuss about the device itself later when you get yours.

No I think I like the white one better so I might just have to leave the browser open for several months until it is released.

The iPhone 4 is available at selected Vodafone stores today, 30 July 2010 from mid-day.

Due to limited stock, iPhone 4 will only be available to new or existing customers signing to a new on account term contract.

The iPhone 4 will also be available from the Vodafone Online Shop in the coming weeks.
A full list of prices are now available.

Im an on account customer so will they sell it to me or only new contracts.

mkl: I'm going to do this:

Buy iPhone 4 on $40 plan

$619

Pay $40 for 6 months = $240

Break contract after 6 months = $315

Add them:

$1174

$74 more than buying outright, and you get 6 months of calls, txts and 3GB data till sept. Not bad huh?
Any thoughts on this?

Close - but GST will be 15% by the time you cancel, so $1,181, or $1,361 for the 32GB.

Also assumes the iPhone plans will not be increased for the increase in GST.

Haha! Personally I think the white iPhone looks weird... maybe because of the black background they always show it with?!

You will either need to pay an early resign/termination fee for your existing contract or sign up for a second contract outright.
