Anyone aware of an affordable VPN service compatible with iOS, primarily iPad?

Sure, that would be good too. Primarily to secure everything when I'm out and about on my iPad using public wifi.

You just need a service that supports the PPTP protocol.

And apparently VPN doesn't work via Vodafone's www.iphone-vodafone.net.nz APN, you may need to use their usual www.vodafone.net.nz APN instead. I seem to recall reading that they'd fixed that a while back, but I may be wrong.

Only relevant if you happen to be trying to do it via a VF 3G connection.

I really like LogMeIn. Lets me log into my computer from my iPhone, or indeed from another computer.

Not correct at all, It depends on the VPN protocol you are using

I use ExpressVPN on both iPads I have (1 & 3) and it works very well. ExpressVPN has an express setup for iPad/iPhone so you barely have anything to do: http://www.expressvpn.com/tutorials/iOS_site

T
here is a $0.99 trial for express vpn available on this site http://www.vpnhero.com/expressvpn-coupon-codes/
