I ordered a 16 wifi from the apple store online on Tuesday the 3rd of April. It had a 1-2 week delivery date.I had it in my hands the following Wednesday. That was 4 business days due to Easter. Awesome! They are listing 5-7 days delivery time now, so should be real quick.

ended up getting 32gb wifi instead, considering how big some games are (1gb+) i think it was probably a better decision anyhow

Like you guys, I had a similar problem. Nobody had any 16gb or 32gb wifi and only one store had a few 4g's, so I settled on a 32gb 4G.

I'm in Hamilton btw.

I ordered a 32 Wifi model through Yoobee Wellington on 26 March but have heard nothing back yet - almost a month ago.  No Wellington stores have any wifi only models in stock :(

Apple's website still says ships in 5-7 days, might be easier to order online

I ordered and paid for a 64GB wifi 3rd gen iPad from the Apple Store last Thursday.
It was shipped on Friday from Sydney and arrived at our door in Whangarei this morning (Tuesday.)
Pretty good as they did say that it could take up to 3 days for the payment to clear (paid by direct deposit rather than credit card) and then 5-7 business days for delivery.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

I ordered and paid for a 64gb wifi 3rd Gen from Noel Leeming in March.  They've been no help when I've asked about the order, only blaming Apple for being hard to deal with (which is probably accurate).  I see their (Leeming's) Facebook page is covered in complaints along the same lines.

Has anyone had any better luck with them?

In hindsight it's obvious I should have just ordered it from the Apple store!  I hope that helps someone decide where to shop. (but if you could just wait til they've shipped mine before ordering yours that would be excellent...)  Smile

The Wifi 32s and 64s are pretty rare still.

More stock is coming into the channel, but they are obviously the models with the most demand and Apple is not allocating enough to retail.
It is not Noel Leeming's fault, they just have to get what they are given.

There are plenty of WiFi+3/4G models around though (in both 32 and 64)
