I am using windows 7 with itunes. I currently have itunes setup to store files on other drive. However for some reason it only stores music and videos, but not the apps. The apps continue to be stored in windows music folder along with the itunes xml files. Have done several searches on the apple website but can't find an answer when it comes to 'apps'.

Have you tried going to ilounge.com?

They will have the answer you're looking for and it really is the oracle for all things i.

I'm a regular user of the site and have found it immensely useful.

Yah I find it quite frustrating that I have to store another copy of my iPad apps in my iTunes library.
My media hard drive is always full, and I have quite a few 1GB+ iPad apps, that have a useless duplicate there.
It's at the point where I don't want to sync my iPad as I know my new apps will use up another GB of precious free space!

Would also like to know if I can store the apps somewhere else.

Cheers,
Joseph
