seems to be about a bazillion ipad cases out there, so would like a bit of a reccomendation from actual people on which ones are good and/or which ones to avoid.

I would like the following features:

covers the screen when not in use and has the automatic wakeup function
be able to stand the ipad at both shallow and steep angles
be able to stand the ipad in both horizontal and vertical mode (something the smart covers don't do)
have a slot for holding business cards and maybe a screen cleaning cloth
have built in bluetooth keyboard  (last one not a deal breaker, but would be nice)

colour not really important, just a neutral brown, black, grey is fine.

material not important, but leather is always nice.

price I'm guessing around $80-90, but not a major issue if it is more

any help would be much appreciated.

Hey

I have this one http://www.cygnett.com/ipad/lavish-earth-3.html and I love it. My dad also got the same one.

Edit: you can get the connect which has a keyboard but I found it too thick.

Nice case. Did you buy online from an overseas supplier? I'd really prefer to see then in the flesh and try out. Are there any retailers with a good range? I'm in ChCh

hehe, that is actually the case I have right now.  It is nice, but doesn't do the vertical stand which I really want.

I bought two cases for my iPad 2 a year ago. And I've liked the one best off dealextreme. Which happened to be the cheapest. Something like this one: http://m.dealextreme.com/p/stylish-protective-pu-leather-case-w-smart-cover-for-ipad-2-the-new-ipad-black-148128

Sorry about the formatting.

Check the reviews on dx before you buy, the one I got had the best reviews.

Not sent from my iPad.

I think he wants it to stand up in both landscape and portrait mode.

I got smart cover and a belkin back plate for mine, and that works well, and you can keep the ipad looking like an ipad, rather than a bulky folio.
