did u know that if vodafone gets the iphone, telecom can still make money off it. u know why? because telecom seems to have heaps and heaps of public wi-fi hotspots all around new zealand. and vodafone doesn't have any. so if a person on vodafone had an iphone and they wanted to use the faster wi-fi, then they'll be using a telecom wireless hotspot at a cafe or library and that's how telecom will make money. lol. because vodafone new zealand do not have any public wi-fi hotspots at all. lol. if vodafone wants to make the most money out of it's customers who buy the iphone then they need to deploy hundreds of 802.11b/g wi-fi hotspots around new zealand before the iphone comes to new zealand within a year.

Ok, I don't do this a lot but I am going to take a stab at it this time:

Did you know that if Vodafone get the iPhone, Telecom can still make money off it? Because Telecom has heaps of public wifi hotspots all around New Zealand while Vodafone doesn't have any. So if a person on Vodafone has an iPhone and they were to use wifi they are likely to be using a Telecom hotspot. Telecom makes money off this.

If Vodafone wants to make money off wifi as well they need to deploy hotspots around the country soon.

Is that what you were trying to say?

OMG DID YOU KNOW THAT THE POWER COMPANIES WILL BENEFIT FROM THE IPHONE BECAUSE YOU NEED TO CHARGE IT. AHAHAHAHA ITS TRUE!
if vodafone wants to make the most money out of it's customers who buy the iphone then they need to deploy thousands of km of power cablearound new zealand before the iphone comes to new zealand within a year.

(this post was a joke)

Telecom won't make any money because the Telecom Hotspot is free until the end of 2007.... Get your facts right!

But, the billing engine does work and one day they might be brave enough to switch it on and leave it on....

stacey1122 before posting this did you stop to think the iphone is not the only mobile phone that does/will support wifi

Look at the imates
I have a GPRS/WCDMA data card with wifi built in (vodafone branded) option card

Mothers who drugged us!

The other day, someone at a store in our town read that a Methamphetamine lab had been found in an old farmhouse in the adjoining county and he asked me a rhetorical question, "Why didn't we have a drug problem when you and I were growing up? " I replied, I had a drug problem when I was young:

I was drug to church on Sunday morning.
I was drug to church for weddings and funerals.
I was drug to family reunions and community socials no matter the weather.
I was drug by my ears when I was disrespectful to adults.
I was also drug to the woodshed when I disobeyed my parents, told a lie, brought home a bad report card, did not speak with respect, spoke ill of the teacher or the preacher, or if I didn't put forth my best effort in everything that was asked of me.
I was drug to the kitchen sink to have my mouth washed out with soap
If I uttered a profanity.
I was drug out to pull weeds in mom's garden and flower beds and cockleburs out of dad's fields.
I was drug to the homes of family, friends, and neighbors to help out some poor soul who had no one to mow the yard, repair the clothesline, or chop some firewood; and, if my mother had ever known that I took a
single dime as a tip for this kindness, she would have drug me back to the woodshed.
Those drugs are still in my veins and they affect my behavior in
everything I do, say, and think. They are stronger than cocaine, crack,
or heroin; and, if today's children had this kind of drug problem,
America would be a better place.
~author unknown~
God bless the parents who drugged us.
