After a bit of a wait yesterday (and all last year for that matter), the jailbreak everyone has been waiting for is out now.

It's compatible with ALL models of iPhone, iPad, and iPad mini running iOS 6.0 - 6.1. The FAQ says to disable any passcode lock first, and also back up to iCloud or Mac/PC (of course!)

Just ran the process on my 4S and it took about 5 minutes....halfway through the process it installed an app on my home screen called Jailbreak, which I had to run manually but once you tap the icon the Windows/Mac/Linux app does the rest for you, including setting up Cydia.

Anyone rocking this jailbreak now? How'd it go for you? Any problems/errors?

EDIT: Also be aware that Cydia is getting HAMMERED, so it's nearly impossible to install any apps or tweaks right now. This should get better over the course of the day but for now you'll probably get a lot of: NetDB: Open nodename nor servername provided, or not known or HTTP:/1.1 500 Internal Server Error type errors

Are they getting anywhere with the apple tv3 jailbreak?

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Does anyone happen to know whether jailbreaking voids the CGA?

Has anyone experienced the bug with the stock Weather app, where it crashes upon launch?
From my research, the bug begins after you have shut down or hard reset your device.
Watiing for an update to the utility before I jailbreak. Hopefully should be tomorrow.

I've had no problems with any of the app crashes that some other people are mentioning.

Cydia is still being jerk to me.

Some things come down straight away, others error out.

And it looks like they've shut down the purchasing ability for a while due to high demand.
