Hi,

I have a 3GS ios 6.1 operating on the 2degrees network. Am on a prepay contract with a lot of data and money left on my balance.

It appears that when I attempt to send a pxt to anyone the message fails. Or at least that's what it says.
I attempted to send one the other day to another iPhone and it said it failed. However it did actually get thru.
I have since attempted to send pxts to other phones, one a galaxy and one a Nokia but again message states failure to deliver.

I have sent pxts before, however only recently have I noticed this occurring.

Are you Prepay or Postpay? Very confusing from your post

Please attach a screenshot of your data settings, especially including the MMS section.

I am on a prepaid plan. I have enough data and texts on my plan and excess money on my balance with 2degrees.

There are more settings under Cellular Data -- those are the ones we need to see.

Your max message size is the problem. It needs to be 300000.

I presume you mean 312200 which is listed on the 2D website. Yes 300000 will work but ... :-)

2gnscib - where did you get the 614400 number from ? :-)

No, I mean the 300000 that the design guy - me - specified. :-)

The 641000 number was there already. Ive never been in there before and not changed any numbers till now.
However either number 300000 or 31220 doesnt work. Message still fails.

You need to reboot the handset after you change it. Also, messages that have already failed will never be sent, from memory, because it has already sized them for the wrong max size. But after the reboot you should find that new ones work.

You might want to get the web designers to update 2D's website then if they put the wrong info :-)

@2gnscib Thanks for posting your question - same thing has been happening to me and I thought the culprit was just the crap reception where I live.
