Obviously I'm going to ring telecom.
But this morning I woke up to a no credit text from +1 (1) (3) weird I was sure I had $20 odd $ I thought the message must be fake.
Then I log in to my telecom and see various text to international numbers in the first 7 hours of this morning.
I think phone was connected to wifi overnight. Either way it seems my iphone has been hacked!

Edit: To add there is no record of these text in the messages app. Phone has been sitting beside my bed the chance that the only other person in the house used the phone and deleted the messages is just not possible.

Or perhaps you installed an app that tries sending SMS to special numbers to dry out your account?

What apps you installed lately?

Only installed two apps within the last month or so. 2 weeks ago I installed Hill Climb and about a month ago I installed Snoopy Coaster

Imessage was, is and always has been turned off in settings if that means anything, and I don't use facetime, it's a 3gs. I thought Imessage didn't use credit anyway?

The activation SMS use credit as they are international SMS but looks like a App is having fun with your prepay balance

Did you read the terms of the apps you installed?

Not even sure where to find them. I know it is the users fault if the user doesn't read a large licence agreement document. But who really does? I thought apple scanned and checked apps for this?

It appears I have just recieved a 38 second voicemail from Kazakhstan / Russia. I can't listen to it though, I only have 2 cents credit left.

Have you jailbroken the phone? I don't think iPhone apps even have permission to make calls and send messages..
