Hey folks, I'm looking for some help if possible. We sent an app to the Apple app store for approval, similar to other apps that have gone through smoothly, the only difference being a big brand name. We developed the app for that brand which is our client.

It was submitted on June 29, went for review on 8 July, 9 July they emailed to say it would take longer, we replied and asked if they needed more information and explained that we were chasing a deadline and gave them contact details for the client in case they needed to confirm approvals, and got a standard form email back saying occasionally they need more time to review.

We replied with more detail and got the same form email back.

Does anyone know of a way to contact a real person at Apple in a situation like this. Would really appreciate your help.

Pretty much nope. I've spoken to a real person at Apple regarding app store approvals a grand total of once, but the only way you'll get those contact details outta them is to get a rejection and challenge it (and even then, only if you're really persistent).

Only real solution is to wait, unfortunately.

Thanks for your help guys, we have made contact with people in the US who are now trying to assist us:) If it all works, I'll be making an announcement of the launch of a very cool AR campaign soon:)
