Hi would anyone be interested in getting a very nice little dock suitable for iPhone 5/c/s, and iPad mini?

You might have seen it before: http://www.twelvesouth.com/products/hirise_iphone/

Problem is, shipping is expensive at $30 USD (flat rate per order).

If there were enough people then we could make it more economical and share the shipping costs. I will try to get an idea from TwelveSouth how big each individual box would be. I should be able to ship them within the country for around $5 NZD each once the bulk shipment was to land.

And yes I'm aware that I could get free ground shipping to YouShop but I'm not confident that would be much cheaper, and would certainly be a lot more expensive.

I haven't done the sums but I'll just do some rough maths now to give you an idea (before currency fees and local shipping @$5NZD):

1 - $65 USD = $80 NZD
2- $100 USD = $122 NZD = $61 each
3 - $135 USD = $166 NZD = $55 each
4 - $170 USD = $210 NZD = $53 each
5 - $205 USD = $252 NZD = $50 each
6 - $240 USD = $295 NZD = $49.50 each
7 - $275 USD = $340 NZD = $49 each
8 - $310 USD = $381 NZD = $48 each

For future reference, these are now available for a great price from the Apple Store NZ - http://store.apple.com/nz/product/HD716ZM/A/twelve-south-hirise-stand-for-iphone-55s-and-ipad-mini?fnode=45
$39 with free next day delivery, just had one arrive yesterday for my wife's new 5S, seems pretty cool although some of the angles on the aluminum is slightly off which I was surprised about- don't notice after you've assembled it though

Bought one as soon as I saw it on the Apple Store ^_^

Yes it's a bit weird when putting it together to find that the two bits of aluminium don't sit parallel to each other. I wondered if I had a dud one but the iPhone and mini fitted onto it well so I presumed it was meant to be like that.

Can highly recommend!
