Hi There!

A friend of mine has an Ipad 2 his kid dropped and smashed the screen. in Auckland is there a good cost effective repair agent anyone has experience with?

I recently had to replace the wifes ipad3 screen. Emailed around got some prices which varied quite a lot.

ended up using fairfix.co.nz, reasonable price and did a good job.

will be using them next week to fix my sisters ipad screen that my other child broke haha

I've used fonefix before and have been very impressed with their service.

Here's the link for their iPad 2 repairs. Smashed screen would come under advanced repair at $299. Also if they need to requote and you don't want to pay the requoted price they will return it unrepaired at no cost. Also the repair itself has a 90 day warranty.

Using fairfix.co.nz it cost just under $140 for a ipad screen 3 replacement, worked for me.
