Hi,

Does anyone know if it is possible to have two wireless profiles for one SSID on an iPad?

I would like to connect to my network with SSID "MY_NETWORK" sometimes with UnoTelly DNS servers configured, and other times with my ISP's DNS servers.  Is this possible?

I don't want to have to manually change the DNS servers each time I want to connect to one or the other.

Cheers.

I don't think so.

Can you setup another SSID in your router and do it that way? A lot of routers have guest or multiple SSID support.

Run a DNS server and point your router to it and supplement with ISP's DNS. I did it for Plex Media Server using and PlexConnect, Mac OS X DNS Server.

I've just remotely connected to my Genius and see I can have a second SSID.  Problem solved.

Cheers.

See how you can make sense of this https://forums.plex.tv/index.php/topic/71085-a-guide-to-how-i-got-plexconnect-running-on-os-x-server-107/, the part that I would suggest to make heads-and-tails with is the step 7.

Good luck :-D

Mine lets me have up to 6. I've got one spare for when I think of another clever name --

iPad Pro 11" + iPhone 15 Pro Max + 2degrees 4tw!
