Hey there,

I'm very new to the whole software engineer/ programer side of things so I'm calling out for a helping hand.

My background is in marketing & advertising - I'm currently employed at digital advertising agency and have recently graduated from university.

I've been working on a business model that targets and engages users through a mobile application. The app. is retail based and would require a simple search engine, payment system, the ability for users to upload information and potentially a couple of social features. Would anyone know what utilities/ programs I should be looking at? Also could anyone point me in the right direction for a sensible server & software?

Any help would be sincerely appreciated as I'm looking for a co-founder who can focus on the mobile application itself but I want to get as much of a understanding for this side of thing for myself.

Many thanks!

I'm not quite sure what you are aiming for.  Potentially have a look at and do some sort of integration with them?
