is 1gb ram going to cripple performance? should I wait for 6S next year? my wife uses a 5s ... I can't see any reason to upgrade her phone ... hmm, except maybe for the 6+ which has optical stabilization ...

None of the online reviews say performance is bad

Given that iOS cant do proper multi tasking or multi user 1GB seems fine.

My wife has about 30 things open in her safari every time I click on safari I burn data coz it tries to reload everything.

That's because safari and ios are s h i t

Happens on my iPad and frustrates me no end

That never happens in modern IE, just saying

The Galaxy S3 only had 1GB RAM and coped fine, so I would expect the iPhone 6 to cope similarly, since it has much the same features and functions ;)
At least, from what I've seen, it copes fine, though I can't tell the difference performance-wise from our 5S's.

if you want your browser to not reload when you switch apps, or change between tabs, then iPhone/iPad is not for you.

Clearly not enough people care about this, look at the presales.

Bigger screen, bigger battery, new optics in camera, new processor to name a few.

I have a 5000mah battery pack thats plugges into my iphone 5 for most of the day. Samsung s5 here I come!
