Hi guys, I am a recent purchaser of an iphone. It is truly the most beautiful piece of gadget I've ever used! It is such a shame that it doesn't support MMS (yet?)

Anyway, many of you may have heard about the MMS workaround for iphone - http://hacktech.wordpress.com/2007/07/13/mms-picture-mail-workaround/

My question is, does NZ Vodafone have these kind of MMS email addresses?

Also do you get any notification when someone sends you a MMS? Nothing happens at all when a friend of mine sent me a MMS the other day...

If you have used your sim in an MMS capable handset before, you will have to get vodafone to turn it off.

This can be quite challenging with their call center not really knowing what you want done.

FWIW, Telecom's one is [number]@mms.xtra.co.nz

Anyone know the equivalent for Vodafone? Is it something like 6421XXXXXXX@pxt.vodafone.net.nz?

I have just composed a MMS on my SE V630i and instead of sending it to 021xxxx I sent it to 6421xxx@pxt.vodafone.net.nz and yes, it came through to my Blackberry.

However i sent an email from my desktop to 6421xxx@pxt.vodafone.net.nz and it hasn't come through.

So it looks like if its being sent over MMS to @pxt.vodafone.net.nz it works, but if it's not over MMS (so in the iPhone's case?) it won't
