I am now on my second warranty claim in about 4 months for this case.

The charge port is a very poor design, with two small plastic lugs that snap shut to keep the water out. They have a habit of breaking. My original case (ordered direct from LP) failed after 6 weeks. They replaced it FOC and now that replacement has suffered the same problem.

It is clearly a design fault and I found others on line who had had exactly the same issues. It is a shame, because the case is excellent otherwise.

I shall get a replacement but it will go on Trade Me and I will be moving to another case now.

Interesting, I have owned Lifeproof cases for iphone 4 and 5 as well as iPad mini and iPad air which all use a very similar if not the same charge port design. Never had any issues with the cases, perhaps quality control has gone down?

I also find this interesting.

I use a Nuud for my iPhone 6 and have had no issues.

I also have a Fre and have used both of my cases extensively

I have been using Lifeproof Nuud cases since I had a 5 and to date have never had an issue. Must be a 6Plus issue.
