Hi there,

Previously with an iPad I could see what apps and the home screen through itunes, however for some reason with the iPhone I just get a spinning thing

Anyone else seeing the same thing or is it just me?

I had a different problem, and this might help you out.

My iTunes wouldn't detect iPhone 6S until I manually reinstalled the driver:

1. Go to Device Manager
2. Find Apple Mobile something device under Portable Device
3. Update driver and choose to locate the driver manually
4. Find the driver at C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\Drivers

After I reinstalled the drivers everything worked as normal and it instantly detected my iPhone.

Yeah, this is on a Macbook so no drivers needed.

I did try on a Windows PC and the same thing happened with the continuous spinning thing

Did you update your iTunes to 12.3 at least?

Yeah, the windows PC never had itunes so it has the latest along with the Macbook

I did come across a thread where people are complaining about how apps on IOS dont get transferred to iTunes anymore and there were a few people complaining about not being able to see their home screens so can only assume I'm affected by the same bug too

So I spoke with Apple support, apparently it's a slowly emerging issue. Glad it's not just me.
