A strange thing is happening on my wife's Iphone.
When she types a txt message the letters do not show in the message box as you type.

I have uploaded a photo to show.
I presume there is a simple fix but what is it please :)

Double click the home button, then swipe up the messages app to close it. Then re-open by tapping on it again from the home screen.

My phone did this once as well.
Press and hold on the microphone button a few times and that should get rid of it.
Also update iOS if it isn't on 9.0.2.

Opinions are my own and not the views of my employer.

Did you restore a backup onto your iPhone 6 from an iPhone 5/5c/5s? I've seen there is a bug which causes this issue or similar on some devices after a restore from backup

This has happened to a few many people, and it happened to myself too... I found the simplest is quit the app.

There may be an issue where it is trying to do voice message.

p/s: Op, you can take screenshot too - Home + Standby/Power at the same time.
