Pretty pricey (as usual) and I wonder what size mA they are?

Doesn't look like anything Apple would design. Giant lump for the battery looks odd.

Really ugly case. Did this actually pass by Jony Ive?!

Horrendous design!

Wonder if this means Apple will finally end their obsession with thin products. I'm not liking the battery life on my 6S at all.

Once is a while, something comes along that changes the way we live.  A device so simple and intuitive, we wonder how we got along without it.

Introducing....

battery.

-----------

On a different note, as a mobile user I can see it being quite useful as one doesn't always have access to a power cable.

Looks Horrid, would definitely look at aftermarket options over this one, if I had a 6S not the 6S+ which easily gets 2 days from a charge.

one theory is that the case is designed that way because all other better looking designs has been patented

also one upside is that it has some sort of antenna built into the case, maybe that will help someone in the remote area

I also read that the design is possibly to avoid infringing parents by Mophie etc.
It's certainly not great, but I don't think it's a disaster. Similar in some respects to the iMac, thin on the edges and thick in the middle.

It will be fine for using when one wants extended battery life, sometimes function exceeds form as a priority.

Tim Cooks explanation for the design....

“If you make this solid all the way across,” said Cook, indicating the spots where the Apple case’s embedded battery stops and you just have the soft fluoroelastomer casing, “in order to get it on, you’d find it very difficult to get it on and off."
